Make a Duct Tape Bracelet with Velcro in 8 Easy Steps
You can make a bracelet out of just about anything. In fact, the earliest examples of the popular decorative accessory were made of animal sinew, shells, and bones. Fortunately, we have more modern materials at our disposal. Today we are going to show you how to make a simple, inexpensive bracelet out of duct tape and Velcro dots. The only tools you will need are a pair of scissors and a ruler.
Step 1: Cut a strip of duct tape about 9 inches long. Make sure that both ends are even.
Step 2: Fold it in half lengthwise so that the edges meet and the tape sticks together.
Step 3: Wrap the strip around your wrist and pinch the two ends together where they overlap.
Step 4: Mark this spot with a pen.
Step 5: Measure about one inch from mark and use a rule to trace a straight line across the tape.
Step 6: Cut along the line.
Step 7: Add Velcro dots to both ends. (You can find them at most arts and crafts stores.)
Step 8: Your Velcro bracelet can now be worn.
Step 9: (Optional) Decorate your bracelet using permanent magic markers.
